OREGON HOUSING for Families and the Elderly Medford Better Housing, Inc. provides decent, safe and sanitary housing for our residents. We rent apartments, houses and duplexes for low income families and the elderly. Please select the Family Housing link or the Elderly Housing link to view information about the subsidized housing projects operated by Medford Better Housing. The Section 236 project rents are determined by the Department of Housing and Urban Development in Portland, Oregon. Most pay the Basic rent or more depending on their income. The Section 8 project rents are determined by the U.S. Department of HUD and are administered by Oregon Housing. Most pay aproximately 30% of their gross income for rent and utilities. |
